Our Story

On East Beach Since 1983

The Galvestonian opened in 1983 on the sand at the east end of Galveston Island, and it has been a beachfront home base for island families ever since. The curved twelve-story tower was designed so every condominium faces the Gulf, and a private dune walkover puts the water a few steps from your door instead of across a busy road. We're not your typical vacation rental. Each condominium is individually owned and fully equipped, cared for by an on-site team that lives and works on this island. That mix of owner pride and resort-style service is why guests come back season after season, and why we sit directly on the best beach in Galveston, just minutes from the Seawall and the Strand.

A Stay That Takes Care of Itself

Everything here is built so you can stop managing the trip and start enjoying it. The front desk is staffed around the clock, housekeeping and maintenance are on property, and the gated grounds hold a 70,000-gallon pool, a hot tub, tennis courts, a cabana, complimentary grills, and a picnic area near the fire pit. Condominiums range from one bedroom to five, all fully equipped, all with a private balcony and Gulf views at sunrise and sunset. We're an adults-25-and-over, non-smoking, pet-free property, which keeps the pool deck and beach walkover quiet enough to actually hear the surf.
